We hope you are all enjoying the mild start to winter. It has been a real blessing with finishing the construction, the landscaping projects, moving into our new leasing center and surely appreciated by all of the new residents.

Our first resident appreciation party was held December 20th at the new Leasing Center. We had approximately 100 residents that came to the party, toured the new facility and everyone had a great time. If you missed this first event, stay tuned for the detailed notices on our next social event.

The fitness center is getting great reviews so if you haven’t used this great amenity please stop in and enjoy it.

To quote from the great novel The Tale of Two Cities – “It was the best of times and the worst of times.”

Here is a summary of the past few months; record breaking heat, the parking lot paving operation that seemed to never end, the earth quake, hurricanes and record rainfalls with flooding throughout the metro area – what could balance all this you say???

Our apartment homes continue to be completed by construction and quickly occupied by our happy new residents – the best of times! The wonderful patience you have all shown with the on-going construction – so appreciated by the management team.

WE SEE PROGRESS!

We see the tot-lot installed with the cushy base system that makes you want to jump around like a little kid. We see the beautiful community center nearing completion. We see the awesome fitness center just waiting for the delivery and installation of equipment next week.

The lawns are nicely established after all the rain, every completed front entrance looks so elegant with the great landscaping plan and so complementary to the new face of The Encore community.

Our wonderful manager, Ms. Tonia and her staff love interacting with our happy residents. Reminder… before we run out of available future apartments – don’t forget we pay a $500.00 resident referral fee – this would really come in handy as the holidays will soon be here. Send us a friend or co-worker that mentions your name as the referral, executes a 1 year lease and moves in their new apartment.

We are working on establishing a “resident blog” so we can all communicate via The Encore @ Wheaton Station web page. Stop by the leasing office and let us know your thoughts on this endeavor.

Summer time and the living is easy – NOT! Our staff is so busy, so we have expanded our leasing office hours and now offer Sunday appointments. Once you visit this community you will get wrapped up in the warm reception, the gorgeous all new apartment homes and the excitement of what’s coming soon. The construction of the Community/Fitness Center is just about complete and the finishes are ordered and ready to be installed.

The Leasing Center is so well designed to accommodate new residents and will work great for our community parties. The interior boasts a gazebo shaped sun room that transition to the Zen Garden. ABSOLUTLY BREATH TAKING! The business offices are perfect, not to mention the conference room and impressive main lobby. We can’t wait to see the furniture in place and the décor complete!

The Resident’s lounge area will have a great sound system to host the flat screen TV, tables for parties, lounge furniture and will over-look the beautiful Zen garden.

The next part of the tour takes you into the Fitness Center. The “Life Fitness” equipment consists of two Treadmills with 17” LCD TV’s. Two Inspire Cross-Trainers are also equipped with the TV’s. For the cyclists there will be a recumbent bike and for the serious body builders there will be a total body system of equipment. The fitness center is complete with showers/changing rooms for our residents convenience.

Last but not least is the playground area that will be adjacent to the gym area with a play system and a great big purple hippo. How much fun is that???

The first phase of 7 buildings turned over for leasing is complete and we are filling up quickly. The community, like the Silver Spring area, maintains its suburban feel but lands you in a great location. The ambience of the community, with the preserved trees, gives you the feeling of a village and the award winning customer service staff is something you have to experience for yourself.

As the old year has ended and a new one is here, the Encore has the first building occupied. The new residents began moving in just before the holidays and will continue to move in over the next year to each building on which the total renovations has been completed.

Everyone is thrilled! The new façade of the building is so attractive, warm and inviting. The new entry, stairwells, halls and the resident’s apartment doors are all coordinated in the latest décor. All of the features are a prelude to the apartment homes – which have WOWED everyone.
